For those who love cycling, the starting point of the Flow Vélo® route awaits you just opposite Thiviers station. This scenic route will take you on a picturesque journey through charming towns, villages, and lush countryside, all the way to the beautiful island of Aix in Charente-Maritime. Pedal along the water, surrounded by tranquility and serenity.
The Dordogne department boasts the highest number of castles in France, with a staggering 619 castles and 382 residences. It is no wonder that Périgord is affectionately known as the country of 1001 castles.
