Situated in the picturesque countryside of the Lot, on the outskirts of the charming village of Rignac, is the Manoir de Malagorse. This delightful medieval village of Martel is just a short 10-minute drive away, offering a selection of restaurants and shops. The location of the Manoir is ideal for exploring both the Dordogne Valley, with its famous attractions such as Sarlat, Domme, and Chateau de Beynac, as well as the historic sites of the Lot, including Rocamadour, Gouffre de Padirac, and Carennac.

The Manoir itself is bathed in natural light and filled with furniture and objects that Anna and Abel have discovered in local Brocante markets. The kitchen is the heart of the house, featuring a handmade immense cooking range and a huge farmhouse table for hosting memorable evenings when outdoor dining is not possible. Breakfast is a sumptuous affair, with fresh juice, fruit, homemade yogurts and musli, freshly baked croissants and brioche, homemade jams, and aromatic coffees and teas. Dinner is a four-course meal served outside in the courtyard, weather permitting, with Anna's delightful table settings, crisp antique linen, fresh flowers, and candles. Abel's menu focuses on the freshest produce and light, aromatic flavors with a hint of Provence.

The living room provides a great place to unwind, with leather armchairs and a selection of interesting coffee books. The Manoir offers five individually designed bedrooms, each thoughtfully decorated with sumptuous French fabrics and locally sourced furnishings. The rooms vary in size and character but all offer the comforts of home, including fresh garden flowers, crisp white bedlinen, fluffy bathrobes, and luxurious toiletries.

Additionally, there is the Four à Pain, the original bakery for the domaine, which is independent from the main house and full of original features. The Manoir is set in 3 hectares of peaceful countryside with stunning views. The swimming pool is located in a large meadow and surrounded by comfortable teak sunbeds. An elevated terrace with teak furniture is the perfect spot for afternoon tea or an early aperitif.

There are plenty of sporting activities available nearby, such as canoeing down the Dordogne River, taking in historic sites and scenic views. For food enthusiasts, Anna and Abel can provide a gastronomic picnic. The region is rich in historical sites and natural beauty, including popular chateaus, prehistoric caves, and medieval towns. For garden lovers, there are several stunning gardens to visit. Abel can also offer advice on vineyards to visit or arrange private tours for wine lovers.

Children can enjoy attractions like the animal park at Gramat or the prehistoric park in Rocamadour. Inés and Louis, the owners' children, have tested them all and can provide recommendations. The owners are always available to provide advice and guide guests around the region.

Welcome to Le Loft de Malagorse, a beautifully renovated 110m2 barn nestled within the charming courtyard of Malagorse.

On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen and a delightful dining space. Step outside onto your private terrace, which leads into a tranquil garden where you can unwind and soak up the peaceful ambiance.

Upstairs, discover two inviting bedrooms. One boasts a luxurious rolltop bath and a walk-in shower, while the other offers a spacious walk-in shower for your convenience. The first floor also features a generous open plan living area, perfect for relaxing and spending quality time with loved ones.

To start your day off right, we offer the added bonus of fresh bread and croissants delivered to your doorstep each morning. If you prefer a leisurely breakfast experience, you have the option to indulge at the Manoir for just 15 euros per person.
