Description for Gite
These cottages offer both comfort and a fresh new design. The original structures were once barns, and while we have preserved their volume and framework, we have also added our own touch by carving into the nearby forest with traditional tools such as an ax and adze. This creates a unique and warm atmosphere in the living spaces. Each cottage has the capacity to accommodate 12 guests, with an additional 4 extra beds available. If needed, the cottages can be used together for larger groups of up to 24 people.
The ground floor of each cottage features a spacious living room measuring 60 m2. The fully equipped kitchen includes an oven, stove, extractor fan, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave oven, vacuum cleaner, and coffee maker. The dining area is furnished with a hardwood table, chairs, and benches. A cozy lounge area is also provided, complete with two sofa beds that can accommodate an additional 4 guests. Guests can enjoy various magazines, watch TV, and take in the panoramic views through the large bay window facing south. To add to the cozy ambiance, each cottage is equipped with a wood stove, perfect for both warmth and the captivating sight of flickering flames.
On the ground floor, you will find two bedrooms, a toilet, and a bathroom. Each bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed for two and a large double bed for two (except for one of the rooms in the lower cottage, which has a sofa instead of a bunk bed). Duvets are provided, but guests will need to bring their own sheets and pillowcases. Alternatively, these can be rented for a fee of 10 euros per week, per mattress.
Outside, you can enjoy a well-maintained lawn and flower garden. There is also a designated area for drying laundry, a picnic table, a woodpile, deck chairs, a parasol, and a barbecue for outdoor dining. Additionally, there is a small fish pond and a charming wooden shack.
Please note that to reach the cottages, guests must drive along a 1.6 km track. Therefore, it is recommended not to bring a car with low ground clearance.
