Construction began in 1535 during the reign of François I and was finally completed in 1550 under the guidance of Claude de Lorraine, the first Duke of Guise. This historical residence holds great significance, as it was a favorite hunting spot for Henri IV on numerous occasions. In 1679, a magnificent chapel dedicated to St Peter and St Paul was added to the estate, adding to its allure and charm.Fast forward to 1893, when the Windsor family, prominent English industrialists, transformed the Manor into their very own family estate. Nestled at the heart of a sprawling 12-hectare park, this enchanting property is a mere 70-minute journey from the bustling city of Paris. The park itself is a picturesque haven, boasting a diverse range of tree species that create a serene and idyllic atmosphere. LE LOGIS D'HERMOS has a capacity to accommodate up to 37 people. Nestled within a 12-hectare park of the historic Manor of Hermos, surrounded by enchanting lanes, this charming lodging is situated amidst a vast and beautifully landscaped garden, complete with an orchard and fields. Just a short stroll away, you will find a picturesque lake, perfect for leisurely walks or relaxation.The lodging itself is housed in a 16th-century outbuilding, exuding a timeless charm. On the ground floor, there is a spacious 110-square-meter room adorned with a cozy fireplace, as well as a well-equipped kitchen featuring a dishwasher and washing machine. Additionally, there is a cloakroom and restroom for your convenience. This floor also offers a comfortable bedroom for two people, along with an accessible bathroom for individuals with disabilities.
Moving up to the first floor, you will discover nine generously-sized rooms, each capable of accommodating between three to five people. These rooms are tastefully furnished and offer a serene and comfortable atmosphere. To ensure utmost convenience, there are five bathrooms available on this floor.

To reach Hermos, follow these travel directions:
If you are coming from Paris, Rouen, or Caen, take the A13 and then the A28. Continue on the A28 until you reach junction 13, which is labeled as "Domaine d'Harcourt." At this junction, take a left onto the D438 and drive for approximately 400 meters. Then, make a right onto the D92 and continue for 1.5 kilometers. You will find yourself in Hermos.
In case you are traveling from Evreux on the D613, look for the junction called "Les Quatre Routes." Once you reach this junction, turn right onto the D840. Continue driving on the D840 until you reach Le Neubourg. After passing through Le Gros Theil, take a left onto the D92. Follow the signs that direct you to Hermos.
If you are coming from Alençon or Bernay, take the A28 and continue until you reach junction N°13. From there, follow the directions provided above to reach Hermos.
