Our property has received a prestigious 3-star rating from the renowned "Gites de France" association.For your convenience, the owners Paul and Caty are fluent in English, French, and Spanish.
The property offers 4 elegant and spacious en-suite bedrooms, including a family room that can accommodate four guests. In total, we can accommodate up to 10 people at once. All rooms are equipped with internet connection, a flat screen TV with French channels, and a complimentary tray of refreshments including tea, coffee, water, and biscuits.
Our rates include breakfast, which is served in the lounge from 07.30 to 10.00 am. If weather permits, breakfast can also be enjoyed outdoors on the patio.
Check-in time is between 4.00 and 7.00 pm, and check-out is at 11.00 am on the day of departure.
Guests can relax and unwind in our large, beautiful garden adorned with fruit trees and a terrace for alfresco dining. We also provide entertainment options such as a pool table, table tennis table, and board games. The courtyard can accommodate up to four vehicles at a time.
There are numerous attractions to visit in the surrounding area, including the castles of Compiègne and Pierrefonds (where the popular BBC series "MERLIN" is filmed). Other nearby attractions include the Armistice museum, the Vic dungeon, and various First World War memorial sites and museums. The town of Soissons, with its stunning cathedral, is just a 20-minute drive away.
Nature enthusiasts can explore the vast Compiègne forest, spanning over 14,400 hectares, on foot, by bicycle, or on horseback. There are also several fishing lakes nearby, with two located less than a mile away in Attichy. Fishing competitions are held throughout the year, and daily permits can be purchased from the property owners. Additionally, the area is home to numerous 12th century churches, including one in Bitry.
Our property is conveniently located just a 50-minute drive from Eurodisney, Parc Asterix, Charles de Gaulle, and Beauvais airports.
