To reach the Château de Villeneuve, you have several options:
By plane: Ryanair offers flights from London and Brussels to Cacassonne airport.
By train: Take a train to Carcassonne station, which is operated by SNCF.
By bus: Refer to the timetable for the Carcassonne - Montolieu bus route.
By car:
- If you are coming from Toulouse, take Motorway A61 and exit at Castelnaudary. Then, follow RN113 towards Carcassonne. When you reach the exit of Alzonne, take road D8. In Montolieu, drive through the village towards Saissac and Revel. After 2 km, you will see a small road on the right indicating "Villeneuve". The castle is just a few hundred meters ahead.
- If you are coming from Narbonne, take Motorway A61 towards Toulouse. Exit at Carcassonne Ouest and continue on RN113 towards Toulouse. After Pezens, turn right towards Revel and keep going after Moussoulens. In Montolieu, drive through the village towards Saissac and Revel. After 2 km, you will see a small road on the right indicating "Villeneuve". The castle is just a few hundred meters ahead.
