Canel is surrounded by 20 hectares of picturesque organic farmland, ancient woodlands, lush vineyards, and vibrant plum orchards, offering breathtaking views. With a rich history of farming, the chateau has been home to cows, calves, chickens, and eggs, as well as vineyards and wine production, plums and prunes, and even flour and bread. Currently, there are only 3 cats on the premises, but by summer, we may introduce chickens to provide fresh eggs for a delightful morning breakfast.Start your day with a scrumptious breakfast served on the courtyard terrace, where you can revel in the panoramic vista of the charming bastide town of Tournon d'Agenais. In the evenings, unwind and soak in the tranquil atmosphere beneath the magnificent sky.
Each of our bedrooms boasts a private bathroom with shower and/or bath, complete with a hairdryer and a selection of toiletries. We provide all bed and bath linen, as well as towels for your convenience by the pool.
Our inviting swimming pool is open throughout the day, allowing you to take refreshing dips whenever you please. For our younger guests and their parents, we have a spacious trampoline and a table-tennis table set up in the barn, ensuring endless fun and entertainment.
Indulge in a delightful dining experience with our full 3-course meal, available upon reservation. On any given night, we offer a delectable assortment of cheeses and/or cold meats, accompanied by fresh bread and local wine.
Nestled between Domaine de Lancement, a renowned local independent wine farmer, and Vin du Tsar, an esteemed wine cooperative, Canel is surrounded by excellence in winemaking, with both establishments consistently receiving prestigious awards year after year.

We are located between the towns of Cahors, Villeneuve-sur-Lot, and Agen.
To reach us from Tournon d'Agenais, head towards Cahors on the road. After 300m, make a left turn towards Thézac. Continue on this road for 4km and then make a right turn when you see the big wine bottle of Vin du Tsar. After 300m, you will arrive at Canel, which is the first house on the right-hand side.
