When we purchased the house in 1974, it was nothing but a complete ruin dating back to the time of Louis XIV. However, after 30 years of relentless hard work and renovations, we have managed to transform it into the remarkable dwelling it is today. Our dedication and courage have been acknowledged by the esteemed "Gites de France," and we proudly hold the prestigious "3 epis de charme" distinction.Our exceptional accommodations have garnered high recommendations from esteemed sources such as "Rivages des Maison dhôtes de charme," "Le guide du Routard Provence," "Le guide Gantié," "Le Petit Futé," and even the esteemed English guidebook "Allastair Sawdays Special Places to Stay" and "Mountains of Europe."
During the summertime, we provide a barbecue for your enjoyment. Additionally, we offer the possibility of catering meals for groups exceeding 10 individuals (excluding July and August). Please inquire for further details. Whether it's a family gathering, a business meeting, or engaging in sports activities with friends, our accommodations can comfortably accommodate 10 to 12 individuals.

Directions
If you are coming from Grenoble in the north, you can take either N85 or N94 towards Gap and then continue towards Barcelonnette. The journey from Gap to our house usually takes around an hour.
If you are coming from the south, specifically from Aix, Sisteron, or Tallard, you will need to exit the A51 motorway. It typically takes approximately 45 minutes to reach our house from there.
To reach our house via the Gap-Barcelonnette road (D 900), once you have covered 10 km from Lauzet-Ubaye and passed "la frésquiere," do not turn right towards Méolans village. Instead, continue for another 500 m on the D900 and then turn left towards "les Means."
