The origins of this house can be traced back to 1299, as recorded in the liève (cadastre) of Estivareilles. The mill associated with the house is documented in the Napoleonic cadastral plan of 1826. The mill, which still exists, operated until 1930, and a sawmill was later added to compensate for its closure.

This scenic property is situated at an elevation of 900m, offering a tranquil environment for you to relax and rejuvenate.

We have three guest rooms available for rent, each providing access to a common relaxation area and kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with hotplates, a refrigerator, and a coffee maker, allowing you to prepare your own meals if desired.

A delicious breakfast, either sweet or savory depending on your preferences, is served in the kitchen area from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. We are also flexible with breakfast timings upon request.

The 20m² bedroom includes a private bathroom with a 90 x 90cm Italian shower and suspended toilets. A queen size bed measuring 160 x 200mm ensures a comfortable night's sleep. Towels are provided, and there is an option to add a crib for a baby. Free WiFi is available in the room.

In addition to the amenities in the room, guests have access to the shared relaxation area and kitchen, with the freedom to cook their own meals.

The rental is available per night, with the rate of 89 euros per night, including breakfast. A tourist tax per person is also applicable.

Nous avons été très bien reçu chez perlette dimanche soir et nous avons passé une bonne nuit. Au petit déjeuner les propriétaires étaient à nos petits soins, et nous ont bien gâtés !!! C'est un endroit tranquille, respirable au milieu de la nature. Nous y reviendrons, et au bord de la rivière c'est relaxant !! Bonne continuation à vous deux et au plaisir de vous revoir. The accommodation is situated at the beginning of the Forez mountains, approximately 40km away from Saint-Etienne in Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes. To reach it, follow the route towards Saint Bonnet le Chateau and Apinac. The rooms are conveniently located at the outskirts of Merle village, in the hamlet of La Plagne.

If you are coming from Le Puy en Velay, take the direction towards La Chaise Dieu, Craponne sur Arzon, Saint Pal de Chalencon, Apinac, and finally Merle.
