The accommodations are situated on the first floor and consist of three rooms. The first room features a 160-sized bed, while the second room has two 90-sized beds that can be combined if needed. The third room is specifically designated for teenagers or close friends who are willing to share one of the bathrooms. In order to maintain a peaceful atmosphere, televisions are intentionally excluded from the rooms. Additionally, there is a spacious living area measuring 70 m2 with a cozy fireplace, perfect for unwinding and relaxation. During the summer, guests can enjoy the outdoor patio with a large table and a barbecue grill. The surroundings of the property are comprised of picturesque fields. A delightful breakfast with fresh local produce is included in the stay. Upon reservation, guests can also opt for dinner at the host's table, with alcohol not being served currently due to pending licensing approval.Reviews

B&B Maison Matalot
This is an exceptional place. There are incredible views of the mountains and everything is stylishly done by the owner. Supremely comfortable bed. The beauty, peace and tranquillity makes it all quite magical. We cannot wait to return!

Directions
To reach the destination, start from Toulouse and head towards Tarbes until you reach the motorway. Take the Carbon exit and continue in the direction of Foix. Pass through Montesquieu Volvestre and Daumazan sur Arize. Once in Daumazan, cross the bridge over the river and take the left fork towards Castex. Drive for approximately 3 km until you reach a hill in Castex. Proceed through the village until you pass the cemetery and find a small road on the left. The house, called Matalot, will be the second left.
