Located in the picturesque countryside of Charente-Maritime, just two kilometers away from the medieval market town of Saint-Jean-dAngely and a quick five-minute drive from the A10 motorway junction 34, you will find our delightful residence. Karen and Richard warmly welcome you to this charming Bed & Breakfast, which features a lovely independent house in the gardens that was once a bread oven. Recently renovated with careful attention to detail, each spacious room (36m2) is tastefully decorated, boasting original stone walls and fireplace features, as well as their own private entrances.Every room is equipped with an ensuite shower room, toilet, plush towels, luxurious bathroom products, cozy slippers, hairdryers, English television, Wifi, comfortable armchairs, and tea-making facilities. Guests can enjoy the outdoor terrace with tables, chairs, and sun loungers, as well as the private heated swimming pool. As you approach through a private drive adorned with lavender bushes and enter the electric gates, you will discover a serene oasis where you can unwind and relax in the tranquility of our beautiful gardens.
Karen is delighted to offer a private candlelit dinner at her elegant dining room table or out on the terrace, creating a memorable dining experience for you. Le Four a Pain benefits from its convenient location, just five minutes away from junction 34 of the A10 autoroute, providing easy access to explore the region's delightful attractions and architectural wonders. Additionally, the stunning beaches of Royan, La Rochelle, Ile dOrleron, and the Ile de Re are a mere 45-minute drive away, while the vineyards of Cognac and Saintes can be reached in just 15 minutes.
Saint-Jean-dAngely itself offers a variety of charming cafes, bustling markets, a plan deau where you can enjoy kayaking, pedalos, and fishing, as well as the expansive Atlantys swimming pool. Karen and Richard are dedicated to ensuring your stay is as enjoyable and relaxing as possible, creating a memorable experience for all our guests.

Un trs trs bon week-end
Venu au Four pain en famille, nous avons pass une trs bonne journe, les propritaires sont trs accueillants et trs aimables.
Les chambres sont vraiment magnifiques et tout est anticip pour palier aux besoins des clients.
Nous avons eu la chance de pouvoir galement goter un repas d'htes simple mais sincrement excellent.

2. Take the bypass directed towards Poitiers - Angoulême.
3. At the 1st roundabout, follow the signs for Poitiers - Angoulême.
4. At the 2nd roundabout, continue straight.
5. At the 3rd roundabout, take the third exit towards Courcelles - CD 218.
6. Stay on this road for exactly 2 kilometers.
7. As you enter the village of Courcelles, take the first entrance on the left (identified by black gates).
8. Our house is located at the end of this private drive.
