I will be sure to provide you with all the best recommendations!Situated on the banks of the Saleix, this location benefits from a pleasant and refreshing temperature during the summer months. The soothing sound of the stream flowing nearby creates a serene atmosphere, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and truly unwind during your vacation.
While there are several car parks available near the house, the cottage is easily accessible via a short walk through the charming old stone streets of the historic district known as "Le Barri." This name originates from the fortifications that once surrounded this part of town. The absence of cars in the immediate vicinity makes this cottage an ideal choice for families with children or for those seeking a peaceful retreat.
Numerous activities are within close proximity to the lodge. The village is well-known for being the starting point of various hiking routes and is conveniently located near the GR10, a long-distance hiking trail that spans France from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean coast, following the Pyrenees mountain range.

Located on the first floor, this charming gite offers a cozy living room furnished with a television. On the same floor, you will discover a delightful single bedroom featuring picturesque views of the nearby mountain and the tranquil stream flowing in front of the house.Ascend the stairs to the second floor, where you will find another comfortable single bedroom. Connected to this room is a convenient shower/bathroom.
At the front of the house, a beautiful double bedroom awaits, complete with a balcony that provides a breathtaking vista of the valley, surrounded by rolling hills and majestic mountains.
Just outside the house, a terrace awaits you, equipped with a table, bench, parasol, and barbecue. Its close proximity to the house makes it the perfect spot for al fresco dining, allowing you to savor the sounds and fresh breeze emanating from the adjacent creek. This idyllic setting provides an ideal escape from the summer heat, offering a peaceful sanctuary to relax and unwind.

Reaching the gîte is a breeze, as it can be easily accessed by car. If you are traveling by train, the nearest station is Tarascon-sur-Ariége, which is just a 20-minute drive away. If needed, we also offer pick-up service from the train station for your convenience.
