My husband, a nurse, and I, a heavy vehicle driver, embarked on a unique and ambitious project to renovate a 1929 mansion. Our goal was to bring modern comforts, restore its former beauty, and transform it into a magnificent bed and breakfast. Located in the heart of Livradois Forez in Auvergne, we have created a charming retreat with two guest rooms, eight campsites, a treehouse, and two cozy chalets nestled in the forest.Situated within a picturesque 6,400 m² wooded park, our site offers a serene and rejuvenating environment amidst the Thiers mountains. Just 10 km away from Thiers, the renowned cutlery capital, and within a reasonable distance of 50 km from Clermont-Ferrand and Vichy, our guests have the opportunity to explore and embrace the natural beauty of our region.
We have affectionately named our establishment "E lu chantauziau," which translates to "birdsong" in the local Auvergnat dialect. The park is blessed with natural springs and frequented by a variety of wildlife, including some delightful pets.
For your leisure and enjoyment, we provide a library, a selection of board games, a charming henhouse, a vibrant garden, and various spaces for relaxation and outdoor activities.
Furthermore, we happily welcome your four-legged companions to join you during your stay.
