Our charming cottage is situated in the heart of Beaujolais, within a beautifully renovated old winegrower's house. The house boasts exposed stone walls, elegant moldings, and period beams, showcasing its unique character.Completely separate from the owner's residence, our cottage offers a sense of privacy and tranquility. The interior features a refined decoration and modern amenities, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat.
Access to the cottage is through a staircase that leads to a small private terrace. Inside, a bright living room awaits you, adorned in soft shades, with cozy armchairs and a sofa bed for relaxation. A dining table is also provided for your convenience. Adjacent to the living room is a fully equipped kitchenette, complete with a dishwasher, a 4-burner induction hob, and all the necessary crockery. We also offer the option to borrow raclette and fondue devices, as well as a pressure cooker.
The cottage includes a shower room with a walk-in stone shower and a heated towel rail. Towels are provided for your comfort. On the same level, you will find a spacious 20 m² bedroom, decorated in a bohemian style, featuring a comfortable 160 bed and high-quality bedding. A wardrobe, reading corner, and office space are also available, providing a peaceful environment for work or relaxation. Upstairs, there is another 20 m² bedroom with warm decor, a wardrobe, and a TV. The beds are made upon arrival, ensuring a hassle-free stay. We can also provide a cot upon request.
Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards, as well as a 5000m² park with mature trees and colorful flowers, creating a picturesque and revitalizing setting. We are conveniently located just 8 minutes from the A6 highway, making our cottage an ideal choice for both family vacations and business trips. In the village, you will find shops, a restaurant offering take-away meals, and a medical center.
Our location is perfect for exploring the beautiful Beaujolais region, with its golden stone villages to the south and the verdant Beaujolais Vert to the north. Nearby activities include cycling, hiking trails, wine tourism, tree climbing, tennis, and horse riding. We are just a 10-minute drive from Villefranche-sur-Saône and 30 minutes from Lyon, offering the best of both worlds - a countryside retreat close to city amenities.
Please note that a car is recommended, and we are conveniently located just 8 minutes from the Villefranche Nord exit (N°31) of the A6 highway.
