Our house is situated in the center of the village in a peaceful residential area, close to all shops and amenities. It provides easy access to expressways, allowing for convenient exploration of the historical and tourist sites throughout Normandy. The location is ideal.We are located 7 km from downtown Caen and 6 km from the exhibition center.
We offer a self-contained apartment on the ground floor of our house, which has been independent since 2004. It offers privacy as it is separate from the owner's living space. The apartment was formerly the village pharmacy and has recently been renovated.
The apartment can comfortably accommodate 2 to 4 people. It features a fully equipped kitchen with all necessary utensils, a dining room, a flat screen TV with TNT channels, a DVD player, radio, CD mini-system, washing machine, library, board games, WiFi internet with excellent broadband quality, and electric adapters for all countries.
The bedroom is partially underground and includes a large, comfortable bed for 2 people (160x200, with recent bedding) to ensure a restful sleep. It also has a wardrobe and storage space, as well as two bedside tables with lamps.
The living room has a comfortable sofa bed (140x200) that can accommodate an additional 2 people.
The bathroom includes a spacious shower, sink, storage space, and a separate toilet.
Outside, there is a terrace with garden furniture, deck chairs, and a charcoal barbecue. The secure closed parking area adds convenience and peace of mind.
All necessary shops are within a two-minute walk, and supermarkets are located 2 to 3 km away. The sea can be reached in 18 km via the expressway.
There are numerous tourist sites within a 50 km radius, including the D-Day landing beaches, Arromanches, Bayeux, Omaha Beach, Caen, Ouistreham, Courseulles, Cabourg, Deauville, Honfleur, Mont Saint-Michel, Étretat, Pays d'Auge, Suisse Normande, Sainte-Mère-Église, Cotentin, and The Hague. There are also opportunities for swimming, water sports, bungee jumping, amusement parks, zoos, forests, bowling, leisure activities, museums, and cultural experiences.
A minimum rental period of 3 nights is required, except during school holidays. Mid-week rentals are also available, and it is not mandatory to book from Saturday to Saturday, unless it is during school holidays. Discounts are available for stays of two consecutive weeks.
Long-term stays are possible during the low season.
Linen for both the bathroom and the house can be rented. Please inquire about rates for a specific period and the number of people.
Unfortunately, we do not accept pets.

Our gîte was once the village pharmacy until the late 1980s. It can comfortably accommodate up to four people. The villa features a small kitchen, a living room with a dining area and a cozy sofa bed measuring 135x200 with a comfortable mattress. Additionally, there is a wardrobe, a TV, a DVD player, a mini-stereo, wireless Internet access, and a selection of board games and books for your entertainment. The bedroom is furnished with a spacious 160x200 bed and a cupboard for storage. The bathroom offers a large shower, a sink, and ample storage space. Separate toilet facilities are also available. Outside, you can relax on the terrace with the provided garden furniture and chairs. A charcoal barbecue is at your disposal for delightful outdoor meals.
