Description for B&B:
Experience a delightful stroll along the canal, away from the bustling city center of Amiens and its magnificent Gothic cathedral, as you explore the floating gardens, ponds of the Somme, or the picturesque towpath valley. This serene pedestrian promenade, starting from the barn, offers a peaceful escape from traffic and provides a chance to witness the beauty of nature with frequent bird sightings, including herons, swans, kingfishers, Grebes, and sparrows, throughout the year. For those seeking a more eco-friendly adventure, we offer bicycles for a green excursion along the Somme. However, if you prefer to use your car, reaching downtown Amiens will only take a few minutes.
Our commitment to sustainability is evident in the use of natural and ecological materials during the renovation process and our daily environmental practices, such as water management, energy conservation, and waste reduction. As a result, we have been recognized and awarded the "environment" qualification by the departmental committee of tourism. You can find us featured in the guide "1001 Nights Ecological" by Carolina Guilleminot and Pascal Gréboval, published by Editions Dakota.
