Eric and Corinne are delighted to extend a warm welcome to you at their 16th-century manor house, conveniently located near Valognes, Cherbourg, and the historic D-Day beaches. Nestled in the picturesque countryside, just 12 km from the coast, this recently renovated 18th-century cottage offers a charming retreat. The property consists of two separate apartments, accommodating 3 and 4 guests respectively, or can be rented as a whole to accommodate up to 7 guests.The manor's central location provides easy access to numerous points of interest, including the renowned "La cité de la mer" in Cherbourg, the enchanting Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernesey, and the significant D-Day beaches and monuments such as Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, and Sainte Mére l'Eglise.
GITE N°1, suitable for 3 persons, features a cozy ground floor living/dining room with comfortable sofas and a magnificent old fireplace (decorative only). Additionally, there is a convenient bar area with basic cooking facilities including a microwave and fridge. Upstairs, a spacious room awaits with a queen-size bed and a single bed. The bathroom is elegantly appointed with a bathtub, wash-hand basin, and WC, while the bamboo flooring adds a touch of natural beauty.
For larger groups, GITE N°2, accommodating 4 persons, offers a generously sized ground floor living/dining room adorned with plush sofas and a striking old fireplace (ornamental only). Here, guests can enjoy entertainment on the TV or CD/DVD player, and stay connected with the provided internet access. The bar area boasts a fully equipped kitchen, complete with a microwave, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer. Upstairs, two spacious bedrooms beckon with a queen-size bed and two single beds. The bathroom features a refreshing shower, wash-hand basin, and WC, complemented by the inviting bamboo flooring.
The property boasts a private garden, with a portion reserved exclusively for the guests of the bed and breakfast as well as the cottage. Here, guests can unwind on the patio, taking advantage of the provided table and chairs to enjoy the serene surroundings.
