The Old Bakery is located on the outskirts of the charming village of Langourla in Brittany. Set within one acre of beautiful grounds, this property offers a peaceful and scenic retreat. Just a short 15-minute drive away is the medieval town of Jugon les Lacs, adding to the allure of the location.The main house boasts four double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, all of which come with private facilities. Additionally, there is a fully equipped two-bedroom Gite/Cottage for those seeking a longer and more independent stay. Upon your arrival, a complimentary welcome drink is provided to help you settle in.
For those who wish to dine in, a variety of menus are available for traditional and relaxed evening dining. We kindly request a 24-hour notice to ensure the finest local ingredients can be procured for your table. Gourmet breaks can be booked for a minimum of four guests, offering an exquisite stay and dining experience. Wine, beer, and cider are also available for purchase.
Should you wish to embark on day trips, we can provide a packed lunch with 24-hour notice. Langourla itself is a tranquil village with its own lake, surrounded by rolling countryside and nearby woodlands. The village offers essential shops, two bars, and a beautiful church, making it an ideal destination for your holiday.
Langourla is conveniently located only one hour by car from St Malo, 40 minutes from Rennes Airport, and 35 minutes from the stunning sandy beaches and harbors of Baie de St Brieuc. This makes it an excellent base for exploring Cotes dArmor, Ille et Vilaine, and Morbihan. Within a short distance, you can experience the diverse coastline from Val-Andre to Cap Fréhel, where vast sandy beaches transition into rugged landscapes. The area also boasts numerous lakes for fishing, boating, and birdwatching. There are various walking trails suitable for all levels of experience, as well as being a popular destination for cycling enthusiasts.
Langourla hosts an annual Jazz Festival by the lake during the summer months, adding to the cultural appeal of the area. The medieval town of Montcontour, with its bi-annual medieval fete, is also within close proximity.

"The Cottage is a self-catering accommodation situated next to the main house, offering a fully equipped and independent experience. With two bedrooms - one twin and one double - the cottage can comfortably accommodate up to four people. It features an upstairs toilet and a downstairs toilet and shower. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, freezer, gas hob and oven, microwave, and washing machine.The sitting area is thoughtfully furnished to provide a relaxing and restful atmosphere, complete with a TV and Satellite. Private parking is available, along with a BBQ area for enjoyable outdoor dining. To ensure your comfort, we provide all bed linen and towels. Whether you are planning a long stay or a short visit, we cater to your needs. Tariffs are available upon request. Experience a private and comfortable stay at The Cottage."

Directions to La Vieille Boulangerie from the port at St Malo:
1. Follow the signs for Toutes Directions, heading towards Rennes.
2. Take the N176 heading west towards St Brieuc and Dinan.
3. Continue on this road until you pass Dinan.
4. Turn off for Caulnes and Broons onto the D766.
5. After approximately 1-2 kilometers, the road becomes the D793.
6. At the roundabout, take the road to Broons (D793).
Directions to La Vieille Boulangerie from Dinard Airport:
1. Take the D766, which merges onto the N176.
2. Join the N176 heading west towards St Brieuc and Dinan.
3. Stay on this road until you pass Dinan.
4. Turn off for Caulnes and Broons onto the D766.
5. After approximately 1-2 kilometers, the road becomes the D793.
6. At the roundabout, take the road to Broons (D793).
Once you arrive in Broons:
1. Drive straight through the center.
2. After passing the church in the center of Broons, bear left towards Ereac (D793).
3. In Ereac, take the second exit at the roundabout as you enter the village, heading on the D46 to Langourla (La Poste should be on your right and the Pharmacie on your left).
4. After about 4 kilometers, you will see a small concrete signpost on the left-hand side of the road pointing right to Rouillac. Ignore this.
5. Almost immediately after, you will see another post on the right-hand side of the road pointing left to Langourla. Take this road and follow it to the crossroads in the village (big church on your right, shop and bar/tabac in front).
6. Go straight over the crossroads, past the pink closed Boulangerie on the left, and La Vieille Boulangerie will be about 300 meters further on, on the right.
If you miss the small concrete signpost:
1. Keep going until you reach a right-hand bend.
2. Turn left at the bend, and after a short distance, you will see the big church on your left.
3. Turn right by the shop and bar/tabac, and La Vieille Boulangerie will be about 300 meters further on, on the right.
