Description for Gite

We offer the rental of five cozy gites, perfect for groups of 2 to 8 people. All of our gites feature comfortable bedrooms on the first floor, fully equipped kitchenettes, electrical heating, and additional sofa-beds in the living room. Each gite also has its own bathroom with a shower and toilet.

Nestled within a beautifully restored farmhouse, our accommodation boasts a large garden and a refreshing swimming pool for our guests to enjoy. We warmly welcome groups and are fluent in English to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Located alongside the picturesque "canal lateral", which stretches from the Mediterranean Sea (canal du midi) to near Bordeaux (canal latéral), Les Messauts offers a remarkable setting. Our area is renowned for its vineyards, charming chateaux, medieval towns, historic monuments, museums, and stunning gardens. It is a vibrant region known for its music and dance festivals, bustling markets, and antique fairs.

For those seeking tranquility, there are plenty of opportunities to play golf, cycle, go horse riding or walking, fishing, canoeing, and swimming in the vicinity. And of course, a visit to one of the many nearby vineyards is a must, where you can indulge in wine tasting and purchase exquisite wines. Some of the famous wine regions in close proximity include the Graves, Sauternais, Saint-Emilion, Pomerol, Entre Deux Mers, Première Côtes de Bordeaux, Côtes de Bergerac, and Monbazillac.

Le domaine est grand et peut accueillir beaucoup de personnes. Idéal pour fête familiale, anniversaires, etc...

Directions

To access "Les Messauts," follow these travel directions:
- Take the exit number 4 towards La Réole from the A62 (Bordeaux - Toulouse) motorway.
- Proceed on the D9 road towards La Réole for approximately 3.5 kilometers.
- Turn left onto the D224 road towards Loupiac de la Réole / Blaignac after the designated distance.
- After passing Loupiac, take a right onto the D224 road.
- In Blaignac, take a right turn just before the church.
- Look for the signs that say "Les Messauts - gites."
- Upon reaching the canal, you will see Domaine Les Messauts on the other side. Turn left, then right to cross the bridge, and immediately turn right again after the bridge.
