Description for B&B:
The Main HouseThe Maison de l'Orchidee is a historic Vignernon house dating back to the 1700s. While preserving its original charm, the main facilities have been updated to provide modern comforts for bed and breakfast guests. The inclusion of wooden doors and skirtings helps to maintain the building's historical ambiance. Additionally, all rooms are centrally heated, making it an ideal choice for later season breaks. The loft space has been carefully insulated with half a meter of thickness to ensure warmth during the winter months, creating a cozy atmosphere for visits in October and November, when the autumn colors are at their finest. Returning to a warm room after a day out, guests can enjoy a complimentary mug of hot chocolate or Coca (available for winter bookings only, from November to March). The wall construction of the house provides excellent temperature regulation, keeping the interior cool in the summer and retaining heat in the winter. Furthermore, each bedroom suite is equipped with large ceiling fans to circulate air and provide a comfortable night's sleep during warmer summer nights.
