Welcome to "La Colline," where Tom and Johanna invite you to experience a delightful stay. Situated just 2km from the enchanting medieval center of Sarlat-La-Canéda, we offer five comfortable guest rooms, a gîte, and table d'hôtes.THE ROOMS
Our five beautiful bedrooms each feature their own bathroom, shower, and toilet, as well as free WIFI. You have the option of a queen-size bed or twin beds. Start your day with a generous breakfast served between 8 and 10 o'clock, including pastries, baguettes, jams, orange juice, yogurt, and cereals. Breakfast is included in the B&B price. All our rooms are non-smoking, and air conditioning is available upon request. Enjoy a garden view from all rooms, providing the perfect setting for a picnic, a good book, or relaxation after exploring Sarlat or the countless activities the Périgord Noir region offers.

Nestled on a sun-drenched slope on the outskirts of Sarlat-La-Canéda, La Colline is an ideal base for exploring the Dordogne. Just a short 2km stroll will lead you to the center of Sarlat, a globally renowned city of art and history, known for its beautifully restored medieval architecture. Sarlat is located in the heart of the Périgord Noir region, celebrated for its rich history, cultural heritage, scenic beauty, and gastronomic delights.
In our opinion, exploring the markets is a must-do while in the region.
Venture further to discover several prehistoric sites and painted caves, fifteen of which are UNESCO world heritage sites, such as the famous Lascaux Cave. Périgord beckons you to explore ten of the "most beautiful villages of France," offering something for everyone, from castles and abbeys to picturesque alleys.
Just 50km away, the sacred city of Rocamadour, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is certainly worth the one-hour drive.
Throughout the year, the region hosts numerous events and sports activities. The Tamniès pond, just 10 minutes away, provides opportunities for swimming, fishing, paddle boating, and tennis.
Of course, you can also unwind in our garden, basking in the sun, enjoying a good book, or savoring a glass of wine.
Description for Gite
Welcome to La Colline, a spacious ground floor apartment that can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. Perfect for families with children, this charming apartment is the ideal place to spend a delightful holiday near Sarlat.Located just 2 km from the historic center of Sarlat, La Colline offers a convenient and hassle-free way to explore the beautiful city. Leave your car at our large parking area and take a leisurely stroll to the historic center, avoiding any parking problems.
The apartment features a large bedroom with a queen size bed and a TV, as well as a bedroom with bunk beds. It also includes a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. Step out onto the partially covered terrace, facing southwest, and relax on the comfortable terrace furniture while enjoying the pleasant surroundings.
We provide all the essentials for your stay, including sheets, towels, water, electricity, and heating. Free WIFI is also available for your convenience. Upon request, we can provide an air conditioner for an additional fee of 5 € per day. Please note that there is a mandatory cleaning fee of 50 euros at the end of your stay. Smoking and pets are not allowed in the apartment.
At La Colline, we also offer an optional breakfast service. Start your day with freshly baked croissants, pastries, and baguettes delivered to your doorstep. For those who prefer a hearty breakfast, you can join us for a generous breakfast for an additional fee of 7 € per person. In the evening, upon request, we can provide a delicious dinner through our table d'hôtes service.
