It offers picturesque views of the front, overlooking the river and the 12th Century Abbey Chapel of Sainte Croix. The en-suite shower room includes a WC and provides views of the garden and swimming pool.
2. Les Poutres: Full of character, this bedroom includes a double bed and an additional single bed if needed. The room is adorned with beautiful beams and offers a side view of the house. The en-suite shower room comes with a WC and features views of the front of the house, the river, and the 12th Century Abbey Chapel of Sainte Croix.
3. La Voliere: This spacious bedroom features a double bed and an optional extra single bed. The en-suite shower room includes a WC. The room is enhanced with numerous beams and offers stunning views of the river, Ville Haute, and the medieval Chateau.

Excellent souvenir de mon passage à "Sainte-Croix" avec 4 amis randonneurs. Très chaleureux accueil de Nicole & John passionnés de leur village d'adoption (et d'origine pour Nicole) Angles sur Anglin.
Très bonne qualité d'hébergement avec un plus pour la piscine mise à disposition et le charmant petit-déjeuner pris sur la terrasse avant de continuer notre chemin ..

The village of Angles-sur-LAnglin is located in Central France, approximately halfway between La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast (150 kms inland) and Poitiers (45 kms North-East). Tours is around 100 kms to the North-West. To reach Angles-sur-LAnglin, you can take the A10 Autoroute exit 26 at Chatellerault-Nord, which is about 30 kms to the west. Alternatively, the A20 Autoroute exit 15, north of Argenton-sur-Creuse, is about 60 kms to the east.
If you prefer to travel by air, there are two international airports nearby. Poitiers Biard Airport in Poitiers offers daily direct flights from London Stansted with Ryanair, as well as connections to the Air France regional hub at Lyon for worldwide connections via Paris. Tours Val de Loire Airport in Tours also has daily flights from London Stansted with Ryanair.
For those arriving by train, Poitiers is a major stop on the main TGV train line from Paris to Bordeaux. There are direct connections from the London Eurostar at Lille, with a daily service to Poitiers. The Lille TGV also stops at Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport, providing convenient onward connections to regional UK and other international destinations. Although Poitiers is the closest train station to the village, Chatellerault railway station is even nearer, but it has fewer stopping trains.
If you are driving to Angles-sur-LAnglin, upon exiting the bridge from the village centre, you will find Sainte Croix near the river in the Ville Basse. It is immediately on your right. We are located opposite the Abbey Church of Sainte Croix.
