This description is for a former silk 18th-century house that has been restored in the center of the small hamlet of Chabanne, near Chirols Vals les Bains, Antraigues, and Aubenas.The house combines traditional character with a contemporary look in its restoration. It features old chestnut beams, stone windows, and antique furniture, as well as polished concrete floors, a metal staircase, and aluminum door frames.
The cottage can accommodate up to 5 people and includes 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed (140cm) and the other has twin beds (90 cm). There is a walk-in shower and a lava stone sink on the main floor, accessible from both bedrooms.
The living room is cozy and has a high ceiling, making it particularly bright thanks to the large bay window that overlooks the terrace. It is equipped with a kitchenette and a living area with a flat-screen TV. The kitchen, which is open to the living room, has everything you need for meals, including an oven, microwave, dishwasher, sink, and dishwasher.
An iron staircase leads to a bridge with a relaxation area (90cm bed) and a private terrace of 40 m2 with stunning views of the surrounding valleys. From here, you can see the 3 valleys and mountains of Tanargue. The exterior is equipped with a table, lounge chair, electric barbecue, and an old stone sink.
The cottage is close to rivers such as the Ardèche, Fontaulière, and Bourges, which offer beautiful places for swimming and fishing.
Additional information:
- Private parking is available in front of the house.
- Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday.
- Pets are allowed with prior agreement (additional fee of 50€ per week).
- Tourist tax is 3€ per day per person over 18 years old.
- There is an option for a "household tranquility" service for an additional fee of 60€, which includes the final cleaning of the cottage.
- Spa guests are welcome for long stays. Please contact us for more information.
PROMOTION: In January, February, and March, the weekly rate is discounted to 350€.
