Le Détour is a charming Bed and Breakfast Inn, situated in a historic property dating back to the early 17th century. Nestled in the heart of the Doubs region in Franche-Comté, this enchanting retreat in Buffard offers a delightful environment with a plethora of cultural and sporting activities to choose from. We are proud to have received the prestigious three corn ear distinction from Gite de France and are also recognized as a fishing gite.Our accommodations feature five spacious and tastefully decorated guest rooms, each equipped with a private bathroom. One of our rooms is specially designed to be accessible for disabled guests. Included in the price is a delectable breakfast that can be enjoyed on the terrace, in the park, or in the spacious dining area overlooking the field with our friendly donkeys. During this time, you can savor our homemade ham, village honey, and Comté cheese while planning your day in peace.
There are numerous activities to indulge in during your stay. You may choose to visit the nearby Arc-et-Senans Royal Saltworks, located just 5 kilometers away, or partake in a serene fishing session along the banks of the Loue river, complete with a delicious picnic. For the more adventurous, exploring the area on a mountain bike or in a canoe can provide a thrilling experience. Additionally, we offer themed visits for those seeking a unique adventure.
When you return to Le Détour, our park and terrace will be waiting for you to unwind and relax before venturing out to sample the delectable Franche-Comté country cuisine available at various restaurants in the area.

Directions to reach "Le Détour" in Buffard from Besançon:
1. If coming from Besançon, follow the signs for Lons-le-Saunier and take the RN83. After traveling 20 km, you will reach a three-way section. Leave the RN83 and take the road towards Quingey. As you arrive at Quingey public square, turn right, then left in front of the bar, following the signs for Lombard-Liesle-Arc et Senans. Pass through Lombard and 500m after Liesle, turn left towards Buffard.
2. If you missed the turn for Quingey, continue towards Lons-le-Saunier. About 1 km before Mouchard, turn right towards Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue and turn right towards Buffard.
3. If coming from Dijon or Dole on the A39, follow the signs for Geneva/Dole Choisey. Take the exit for Dole Choisey. At the first roundabout, turn right towards Geneva and Lons-le-Saunier. At the second roundabout, turn left towards Geneva and Pontarlier. Continue towards Pontarlier until reaching Mouchard, but do not enter Mouchard. At Mouchard, follow the signs for Besançon on the RN83. After 1 km, turn left towards Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue and turn right towards Buffard.
4. If coming from Dijon or Dole on the RN5, follow the signs for Geneva and Pontarlier. At Mouchard, follow the signs for Besançon on the RN83. After 1 km, turn left towards Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue and turn right towards Buffard.
5. If coming from Lons-le-Saunier on the A39, after passing the billboards for Poligny and Arbois, exit the A39 towards Pontarlier and Poligny. On the RN83, follow the signs for Besançon and pass Poligny and Arbois. Continue straight past Mouchard. After 1 km, turn left towards Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue and turn right towards Buffard.
6. If coming from Lons-le-Saunier on the RN83, follow the signs for Besançon and pass Poligny and Arbois until reaching Mouchard. Stay on the RN83 and after 1 km, turn left towards Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue and turn right towards Buffard.
7. If coming from Geneva, Lausanne, or Pontarlier on the D72, after Salins, follow the signs for Lons-le-Saunier until reaching Mouchard. Before entering Mouchard, follow the signs for Besançon on the RN83. After 1 km, turn left towards Port-Lesney. Cross the bridge over the Loue and turn right towards Buffard.
To find "Le Détour" in Buffard if you are coming from Quingey or Arc-et-Senans, before the Buffard sign at the crossroads, turn left onto Rue de Besançon and continue to n°27.
