Description for B&B:
The three renovated bedrooms at Chateau de Canac are each unique and well-appointed. The first room, named after Francis, pays homage to the victor of Marignan and features elements of decor from the Grand Century, including furniture and portraits of notable figures from the Louis XIV era.The Marie Antoinette room embodies the luxurious lifestyle celebrated by Talleyrand before the revolution. Complete with a hip bath and a toilet designed to indulge the senses, it promises a more libertine experience.
For those with a preference for the Second Empire, the Empire Room is recommended. With its Eugenie furniture and calming gray walls, it offers a tranquil ambiance. The largest salon in the castle, it is the perfect place to gather before or after dinner. And on cooler nights, guests can cozy up by the hearth with a glass of Aveyronnais plum liqueur.
The cuisine at Chateau de Canac perfectly complements the surroundings and showcases the flavors of the Aveyron region. The talented chefs at Busset skillfully express the terroir of Aveyron through their dishes. For a truly exceptional dining experience, guests can venture to Moulin de Cambelong in Conques, located thirty kilometers away, to savor the nature-inspired cuisine of their Michelin-starred restaurant. Gourmet packages that combine stays at Chateau de Canac with meals at the acclaimed Conques restaurant are also available. Indulge in a feast fit for royalty!
