Experience the dream for yourself at "Au Passage du Gois" in Beauvoir-sur-Mer, situated along the stunning Vendée coastline just 800m from the Atlantic Ocean. This vacation destination is located in the Atlantic Loire region, less than 400 kilometers from the port of Cherbourg and approximately 200 kilometers north of Bordeaux. Known for its beautiful sandy beaches and favorable microclimate, the Vendée offers an abundance of sun, sea, and relaxation. With more sunshine hours than anywhere else in France after the Rivièra, this region is worth exploring in any season. Our newly built holiday cottage sleeps four people and is located in the former sheep stable. The spacious living room features a fully equipped kitchen, while the two bedrooms offer comfortable sleeping arrangements with one double bed (160x200) and two single beds (90x200). The cottage also includes a bathroom, separate toilet, TV with TNT-sat, DVD player, and the option to rent towels and bed linen. Enjoy the garden and private parking, as well as access to a shared swimming pool (4.6x7.6m) with two other gites accommodating a total of six people. We provide a barbecue and offer complimentary baby equipment rental. Stay connected with our WiFi and take advantage of free private parking.

Directions

If traveling by car, Beauvoir-sur-Mer is located 400 kilometers from Cherbourg. From Cherbourg, follow the N13/E3/E46 in the direction of Caen. After approximately 50 kilometers, take the turn towards Saint Lo (N174). Continue on this road until you reach the new perimeter road around St. Lo, which leads to the A84. Take the direction towards Rennes. In Rennes, follow the signs for Nantes. Once in Nantes, follow the signs for Noirmoutier for about 50 kilometers. You will then arrive in Beauvoir-sur-Mer. At the second roundabout, turn right onto Rue du Gois. After approximately 4 kilometers, you will find our Chambres d'hôtes.

For those traveling by train, there is a direct train connection from London to Nantes with only one transfer in Lille. This eliminates the need to change trains in Paris or spend 45 minutes on the subway to reach another train station.

If flying, there are four airports in the UK and Ireland that offer direct flights to Nantes. These flights are operated by Ryanair (www.ryanair.com). By booking in advance, you can secure lower prices. The airports with flights to Nantes are London Stanstad (daily), Dublin (daily), Shannon (not daily), and East Midlands (not daily).
