Description for B&B:
The Segau is a Gascon farmhouse constructed entirely of stone during the late 18th century. It was once a large-scale operation spanning over 100 hectares, where multiple families resided together. The eastern half of the building was occupied by the farmer, while the western part housed 4-5 sharecroppers and their families. This section has now been transformed into 5 guest rooms.Presently, the farm operates on a smaller scale, covering 53 hectares of land surrounding the original farmhouse. Our farming practices are entirely organic, and we cultivate various crops such as wheat, soybeans, lentils, and beans. The farm is blessed with a river called "Osse" that meanders through the property.
Nestled in the heart of Ténarèze, our location boasts a picturesque and undulating landscape, offering breathtaking views of the Pyrenees mountain range. During the restoration process, our utmost priority was to preserve the authentic character of the house. The materials used and the construction techniques employed, such as stone walls with whitewashed joints, reflect the era in which the farmhouse was originally built.
Additionally, we provide accommodation for horses and motorcycles, with a total of 10 horse boxes and designated spaces for motorcycle storage.
