Description for B&B:
Auberge Les Liards is located within the Livradois-Forez natural regional park, known as the balcony of the Livradois. This name holds true as the area offers stunning views of the volcanic chain of the Auvergne from various vantage points. Perched on an old volcano at an altitude of 800m, the guesthouse provides a magnificent setting with unforgettable sunsets. The Livradois region is characterized by its rolling hills, charming small valleys, villages, and hamlets. It remains an undiscovered and authentic destination, where tourists are a rare sight. Instead, visitors are greeted with nature, tranquility, and the beauty of the golden-colored villages.
Our comfortable rooms each come with their own private bathroom. For larger families or groups of friends, we can connect some rooms together. The guesthouse accommodates up to 16 people and offers four rooms. Two rooms are located on the second floor of the main building and share a cozy sitting lounge. The other two rooms are situated in a separate building, providing a perfect view of the Auvergne volcanoes. These rooms have been renovated using natural and eco-friendly materials, with the Nepal room exclusively using such materials.
Picture yourself enjoying breakfast outside this summer, soaking in the view and the melodious sounds of numerous birds. Afterwards, you can visit our collection of animals, including sheep, horses, donkeys, geese, rabbits, and even peacocks. If you desire, you can dine at our guesthouse, with half-board options available. Our kitchen primarily utilizes locally sourced, fresh ingredients, often grown organically.
During the summer months, we organize concerts on weekends (from July 15th to August 20th) for your entertainment. If the weather permits, these concerts take place outdoors on the terrace.
