This unique holiday home, which was once the Guard House of the castle, has been transformed into a delightful accommodation for 2 to 4 people. Nestled within the castle grounds, near the chapel and barn with former stables, this independent cottage offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by woods and pastures.

The cottage features a 30m² terrace, providing a lovely view of the castle and covered from the half southwest sun. Inside, you will find antique furniture, ensuring a charming and private atmosphere. This is the perfect place for a truly unforgettable stay.

Guests also have access to various benefits and services offered by the castle. Additionally, all amenities can be found in Mur-de-Barrez, just 3km away.

Whether you are young or old, there are plenty of interests and activities to enjoy in the surrounding area. The cottage itself spans across two levels, offering 65m² of living space. The large bedroom boasts a four-poster bed in 140, while a secondary chamber in the adjoining dovecote provides additional sleeping arrangements with a bed on the first level and a second mezzanine.

Directions

To get to Mur-de-Barrez from Vic-sur-Cere, follow the signs for Raulhac. Then take the D600 road towards Mur-de-Barrez for about 3km, passing through a place called Courbelimagne.

From Aurillac, take the exit towards Arpajon-sur-Cere. Turn left onto the D990 road towards Raulhac and Mur-de-Barrez. Once you reach Raulhac, continue for 3km until you reach Courbelimagne.

If you are coming from Mur-de-Barrez, take the D600 road towards Aurillac. After 3km, you will reach Courbelimagne.
