Description for B&B:

Pailloles is a small village located to the north of the Share and Garonne region. The Farm Couderc is situated 40km away from both Agen and Bergerac, 12km from Villeneuve - On - Share, 10km from Cancon, and 8km from Casseneuil. It is positioned at the foot of Castelnaud of Gratecambe, facing the Golf course along the RN21.

The village of lodgings, known as "The Farm Couderc," is set on a 14ha estate of hilly meadows. The buildings, mostly dating back to the 16th century, include The Barn, The Plum Oven, The Storeroom, The Cellar, The Sheepfold, and The House. These structures offer comfortable and welcoming living spaces, complete with terraces, barbecues, and some with enclosed gardens.

For the enjoyment of both children and adults, there are various amenities available in the village of lodgings. These include a heated swimming pool with a solarium (open from April to September), sports fields for soccer, volleyball, and pétanque, play areas, a trampoline, a game room with ping-pong and foosball, a fitness area with a gym, hammam, and sauna (additional fee), enclosures with Shetland ponies and dwarf goats, as well as a barnyard. The on-site restaurant, "The Baptistine," serves traditional and local dishes and offers the option of eating in or taking away. They also provide a half-board option for both adults and children, including breakfast and dinner, as well as themed evenings during the summer season. Covered and uncovered parking is available.

There are numerous attractions to explore in the surrounding area, such as Bastides, Castles, Tasting Farms, Parks with entertainment, Museums, Farmer's Markets, and evening events. Additionally, visitors can enjoy walks along the Share River, relax at various lakes suitable for swimming and fishing, and discover the different vineyards in the Share and Garonne region, including Buzet, Lasted, Marmandais, and the small but charming local countryside. It is important not to forget that this region is known for its sunny orchards, especially the famous Prune d'Agen, made from dried plums, as well as its rich duck farming tradition, featuring delicacies such as foie gras, Magret, and Garbure, which are sure to delight the taste buds.

For those interested in sports and leisure activities, there are numerous options available just a few kilometers away from the Farm Couderc, including horseback riding, golfing, fishing, water sports, hiking, cycling, and even aeronautics.

To reach the Farm Couderc by road, if coming from Villeneuve on Share, take the RN21 towards Bergerac and turn left when facing the Villeneuve on Share Golf course. If coming from Bergerac, be cautious after Cancon and do not turn towards Pailloles. Instead, continue on the RN21 and turn right when facing the Golf course after Castelnaud of Gratecambe.

Appréciations pour La Ferme Couderc, Pailloles:

Avis sur le Village de Gites de la Ferme Couderc - 47 (Lot et Garonne)
Review by: Anne, Aou 24 2010 6:21PM
