Just a mile away from the city center of Saumur, our charming establishment offers one flat and three guest rooms within a beautifully restored 18th-century mansion. Start your day with a delightful breakfast served in our peaceful garden.

Adjacent to the National Riding School, golf courses, and surrounded by famous vineyards known for their global reputation, our location allows you to explore the enchanting Loire Valley and Thouet region by bike.

Originally part of the ancient woods known as "Bois Bard," the "Clos" was once owned by M. Fouquet, the financial minister of Louis XIV, the king of France. In the 19th century, the second and third floors were added to the property. It is worth noting that the esteemed author Honoré De Balzac was a frequent guest of the owner during the 19th century.
