This villa for rent is conveniently located just a 4-minute drive from the charming village of Lumio and only 5 minutes away from the beautiful sandy beach of Arinella, where you can enjoy dining at a fantastic restaurant that offers candlelit tables on the beach during lunchtime and in the evening. As soon as you lay eyes on the sturdy oak door of Villa Lucia, adorned with intricate carvings of wheatsheaves and olives, you will immediately sense the special atmosphere of this place. Nestled within its own grove of oak trees, this recently built villa has been meticulously finished to the highest standards using traditional materials.Upon entering the villa, you will step onto the covered breakfast terrace and into a hallway that leads to the spacious and inviting sitting room at the front. This room is furnished with comfortable sofas, a coffee table, satellite TV, and a DVD player. To the left, you will find a well-equipped kitchen with modern appliances including a fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, and a family dining table with chairs. A door from the kitchen opens onto the side garden, while French windows from the kitchen and sitting room open onto the magnificent front terrace, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the curved bay and the ancient citadel of Calvi.
Adjacent to the kitchen, there is a generous dining area with a table and chairs, leading to the spacious main sitting room. This room features large, comfortable white sofas and chairs, with French windows that open onto the front terrace. The terrace itself is furnished with a large parasol, table, chairs, a gas BBQ, and comfortable sun loungers at the other end, allowing you to fully enjoy the outdoor space.
On the ground floor, you will find three bedrooms, two of which have double beds and French windows that open onto the garden, offering views of the sea. There is also a twin bedroom located next to a lovely bathroom with a spacious spa bath, basin, and separate tiled shower. A separate WC is available for convenience.
An open staircase leads from the hallway to the master suite on the upper floor, which boasts its own balcony offering breathtaking views of Calvi and the mountains. The master suite also features a large bathroom with a spa bath, basin, and WC. Additionally, there is a second balcony at the back of the house with fantastic views of the mountains and the picturesque ancient village of Lumio, nestled on the hillside.
The villa's pleasant grounds are adorned with an olive grove and include a 10m x 5m swimming pool, providing the perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment.
