Description for B&B:

Gite Mont Joly is conveniently located just off the main road into Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, offering a sunny and picturesque setting. Our charming gite is only 800m away from the village center, making it ideal for both short breaks and longer holidays. With beautiful woodland on one side and breathtaking mountain views on the other three, our accommodation provides a tranquil escape.

We can accommodate up to 15 guests in comfortable rooms for 2, 4, or 6-7 people. For a small fee of 7€ per person, guests have the option of enjoying a delicious breakfast (children under 5 eat for free) or a packed lunch.

At Gite Mont Joly, guests have the opportunity to socialize with other holidaymakers in our spacious dining room and cozy snug, or relax on the sunny patio. Our communal kitchen is well-equipped, and guests are provided with essential kitchen items such as herbs, spices, oil, and cling film. Additionally, raclette equipment and barbecues are available for use on the patio.

For convenience, guests can request the use of our washing machine and dryer. We also offer a ski locker in the basement (bike locker during the summer) and ample private parking. Upon request, we provide baby essentials such as a cot, high chair, play mat, and musical chair, as well as children's toys.

Saint Gervais is a charming and friendly French town with many nearby attractions. Notable attractions include the Tramway du Mont Blanc, which departs from the village and reaches an altitude of 2380m. The hot springs at Le Fayet, known as Les Thermes, are a short 15-minute walk through the woods from the gite. Additionally, the Evasion Mont Blanc ski area, the 4th largest in France, is only 1.5km away. The village also offers a new swimming pool, an ice rink during the winter, and numerous scenic walks starting from the village or the nearby Les Contamines nature reserve.

Description for Gite

You have the option to rent the entire gite all year round, accommodating 15 guests during the summer and 22 during the winter. Please note that during the peak winter holidays (Christmas, New Year, and February/March school holidays), the changeover day is on Saturdays. However, for the rest of the year, you can rent our gite for less than 7 days if desired. Similar to our Chambres d'hotes, the price includes all bedding.

Directions

If traveling by car or motorbike from Geneva, take the Autoroute Blanche until you reach Saint-Gervais-le Fayet. From there, follow the signs to Saint-Gervais-les-Bains. As you approach the village, you will pass the restaurant, Le Four, on a hairpin bend. Our building is located right after Le Four.

If coming by car or motorbike from Megève, drive through Saint Gervais and go under the Tramway du Mont Blanc bridge. Our location is just 200m further along on the right-hand side.

For those traveling by train, the nearest station is Le Fayet. If you let us know in advance, we can arrange to pick up small groups from the station.

If arriving by air, the closest airport is Geneva. We suggest renting a car, but if that is not possible, there are several companies in the region that offer transfer services which can be arranged.
