We are located in the Upper Cecina Valley, an area known for its main cultural center, Volterra. Volterra is a historically significant Etruscan city, with traces of Roman, Medieval, and Renaissance influences.Our farmstead, which has recently been restored in accordance with Tuscan architecture, is situated near S.Dalmazio, an ancient town just 700m away. This area served as the backdrop for Carlo Cassola's novel "Il taglio del bosco".
Our farmstead, called Podere l'Apparita, is found in the Pomarance district of the province of Pisa, within the scenic High Maremma Toscana region. It is located near the "Colline Metallifere", a landscape characterized by stunning features such as woods (Berignone Wood - Tatti and Monterufoli Wood), gullies, crags, and geysers.
Perched on a hill 350m high, our farmstead offers a serene countryside experience. We have 60 hectares of land, where we produce organic wheat and olives.
At our farmstead, we provide breakfast (B&B) and dinner (half board) on the veranda, offering a beautiful view of the 12th-century Rocca Sillana, which is easily accessible by foot. Our meals showcase fine Tuscan cuisine using fresh, organic produce from our garden (vegetarian options available upon request). Additionally, we exclusively use our own organic extra-virgin olive oil in our meals and on our tables.

Directions
Travel directions from the North (Genova - Parma - La Spezia):
1. Take Highway A12 (Genova-Rosignano) and exit at Rosignano.
2. Continue on route "Variante Aurelia SS1" towards Grosseto.
3. Take the exit for Cecina Nord.
4. Follow Statale n° 68 towards Volterra.
5. Stay on the same route and continue towards Saline di Volterra.
6. Turn right towards Pomarance.
7. After passing through Pomarance, follow the signs for Larderello.
8. After 3 km, turn left towards S.Dalmazio.
9. Just 500m after S.Dalmazio, you will see a sign for "Podere Apparita" on your right.
10. Continue straight on that road for 300m and you will arrive at your destination.

1. Take the highway FI-PI-LI towards Firenze.
2. Take the second exit for Pontedera.
3. Follow the signs for Volterra until you reach Saline di Volterra.
4. From Saline di Volterra, proceed to Pomarance.
5. After passing through Pomarance, follow the signs for Larderello.
6. After 3 km, turn left towards S.Dalmazio.
7. Just 500m after S.Dalmazio, you will see a sign for "Podere Apparita" on your right.
8. Continue straight on that road for 300m and you will arrive at your destination.

1. Arrive in Firenze and take the exit for Firenze Impruneta.
2. Take the highway towards Siena and exit at Colle Val d'Elsa Sud (turn right).
3. At the roundabout, continue towards Radicondoli - Grosseto for 10 km.
4. Look for a gas station called "Total" on the left and "La Speranza" restaurant on the right.
5. Turn right after the restaurant.
6. After 2 km, turn left towards Monteguidi.
7. After a couple of km, turn right towards Pomarance.
8. Pass through the towns of Monteguidi and Montecastelli, then follow the road-signs to San Dalmazio.
9. After 3 km from Montecastelli, you will find the sign for our farmstead on the left, 300m further.

2. Continue along the Aurelia highway and exit at Cecina NORD.
3. From Cecina NORD, take route Statale nr. 68 towards Volterra.
4. Continue straight towards Saline di Volterra.

6. After passing through Pomarance, follow the signs for Larderello.
7. After 3 km, turn left towards S.Dalmazio.
