Our fully equipped 2-bedroom cottages can comfortably accommodate up to 5 guests.
Embark on emerald-hued adventures with forest walks, picnics, and biking trails, or simply unwind in a hammock. If you crave the sand between your toes, the beach and Knysna town are just a short 20-minute drive away. Indulge in relaxation with an outdoor shower surrounded by hot water or soak in an indoor bath.
Find peace on the veranda of your chalet as you observe beautiful birds and graceful buck quenching their thirst at the dam. Forest Edge is located at Lat: -33°5545.8S, Dec: -33.9294027642531, Lon: 22°5618.9E, Dec: 22.9385948181152. It is a 20-minute scenic drive from Knysna, taking you into the mountains and forest. The location is close enough to amenities but far enough to avoid the crowds, traffic, and congestion.
To reach Forest Edge from the N2 between Sedgefield and Knysna, drive approximately 1.5km west of the Knysna lagoon bridge. Then, turn north onto the Rheenendal road. Continue for 11.5km until you pass the Rheenendal Petrol Station. At this point, turn right at the Bibbys Hoek sign. Follow the dirt road for 2.2km and then make a left turn at the intersection. Continue for another 1.5km, and you will reach Forest Edge, which is the last property on this road, offering tranquility at its best. The dirt roads are easily passable, even by small cars.
